Department of Public Relations and Marketing

The functions of the Department of Public Relations and Marketing are:

a) ensuring transparency of the activities of the Service;

b) explaining the functions, tasks and activities of the Service through the mass media;

c) preparing official explanations, notifications, newsletters, information leaflets, press releases and other information materials related to the ongoing processes in the Revenue Service;

d) providing new information on the website of the Service;

e) informing the mass media about the events and decisions organized by the Service;

f) organizing the planning and conduction of sociological and marketing research necessary for the solution of the goals and objectives of the Service;

g) taking care for the image of the Service and the management of the Service;

h) studying the rating of the Service and the Head of the Service;

i) in accordance with the analysis of press and news TV programmes, developing long-term measures to be taken in the near future;

j) coordinating relations between the structural units of the Service and the mass media;

k) preparing press reviews and analysis;

l) arranging press conferences;

m) ensuring the preparation of image items and inventory, as needed by the Service;

n) within the scope of its competence, reviewing the correspondence of a taxpayer, his/her representative and other interested persons;

o) within the scope of its competence, drafting administrative-legal acts;

p) exercising other powers provided for by an individual administrative-legal act of the Head of the Service;

q) carrying out certain tasks and instructions of the management of the Service.
