Non-tariff benefits
Phytosanitary control shall not apply
It shall be permissible for a natural person to bring the following quantities of plants, herbal products and other materials by parcel post
- Plant and plant product in the form of a sample, with a total weight of not more than 10 kg, except for plant seeds and plant propagating material;
- Plant, plant products and other materials (the cost of which does not exceed 500 GEL), in the following cases:
- Up to 5 plants, including trees and shrubs;
- Fruit of citrus up to 3 kg;
- Up to 5 kg of other fresh fruits or vegetables, or both;
- Up to 20 pieces of cut flowers or branches, or both, or a single bouquet or crown from cut flowers or branches, or from flowers and branches;
- Up to 5 pieces of potted plants;
- Up to 2 kg of flower bulbs or tubers or both;
- 5 packs of seed material, each of them in the amount of 5 grams;
- Up to 30 kg of dried and dehydrated products of plant origin;
The import of above goods subject to the phytosanitary control in the country shall be allowed without a phytosanitary certificate and / or an import permit.
Veterinary control shall not apply
to goods imported by parcel post by a natural person, the cost of which does not exceed 500 GEL.

Note Veterinary control shall not apply to goods imported as a sample and / or for exhibition purposes, in small quantities and not intended for human consumption.
The following shall be allowed without medical documentation:
10 standard packages of medicinal products for individual needs of a natural person (except for narcotic, specially controlled and equalized pharmaceutical products), including import into or export from the territory of Georgia of unregistered medicines.
Note! Medicinal products imported or intended for export by parcel post are subject to confiscation and destruction by the customs authorities:
- In the case of the absence of primary packaging;
- In the case of violation of the integrity of the primary packaging;
- If the name of the pharmaceutical product and its substance (s) are not clear from the original packaging;
- In other cases where the pharmaceutical product has lost its marketable condition;
