He graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of International Economic Relations, and also holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. He started his career in 2001 as a Chief Inspector of the International Relations Division of the Customs Department within the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. From 2004 to 2012, he was employed by various organizations, including as Head of Brokerage Service and then as Director in Customs and Brokerage Company Greenline. He was also employed by Burji Ltd. and N(N)LE Association ATU, including as Head of the Department of International Freight and Customs Formalities, then as a Customs and Transportation Manager at the branch of APCO Worldwide Inc. in Georgia. In 2012-2017 he held various positions in the Revenue Service, including the position of the Head of the Customs Department. In the same year, until April 2019, he became the Deputy General Director of Georgian Post Ltd, and from April 2019, he holds the position of Deputy Head of the LEPL - Revenue Service.
